As a premier Passaic County moving company, our customers know that they can ask us for advice – especially when it comes to where they should take the kids!
We know that Passaic County is beautiful (especially during the fall), so we almost always recommend a trip to one of our world-class parks. Definitely consider stopping by one of the following:
Friendship Park:
Where: Bloomingdale, NJ
What: A pretty 45-acre park that’s full of hiking trails, great views and natural woodland. There is a small parking lot where you can park adjacent to the entrance. This is a nice area that the whole family will love.
Apshawa Preserve:
Where: West Milford, NJ
What: A huge, 576-acre park that also has a 43-acre reservoir as well as miles and miles of hiking trails – not to mention a 68-acre tract that’s owned by the New Jersey Conservation Foundation. Apshawa Preserve is great for biking – so bring the kids and spend some time!
Garret Mountain Reservation:
Where: Woodland Park, NJ
What: Situated over 500 feet above sea level, the Garret Mountain Reservation is a very large (568-acrea) recreational area that offers views of northern New Jersey as well as the skyline of New York City! We highly recommend that you go see Lambert Castle’s observation tower and, if you have any horse lovers in the family, the Equestrian Center!
