At Harrington, we love helping people get where they're going, and we also love to help those in need (or individuals and businesses) within our community. When we make a positive impact in our community, we make the city we live in a better place for everyone. Harrington Moving & Storage takes pride in providing a positive impact to individuals and businesses within New Jersey and New York City.
Below are some programs and events we have been involved with along the way.
Valarie Fund - Transported supplies free of charge to Camp Happy Times and also participated in the yearly Valerie Fund Walk by handling the delivers from Coca-Cola and other vendors to our warehouse. We would store the items and then deliver them to Verona.
Restore The Shore – Harrington Moving and Storage sponsored and participated in the Restore the Shore Furniture Drive to collect and deliver furniture to residents who were victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Owego Flood – A simple email from a native of Tioga Falls, NY started a campaign to collect and deliver furniture donations to help the victims of a terrible flood in Owego, NY. Harrington made a 7 hour round trip to deliver two truckloads of donated furniture.
Red Day Food Drive – Harrington Moving & Storage participates in the Red Day Food Drive
Move for Hunger Food Drive – Harrington Moving & Storage partnered with Move For Hunger to help deliver donated items to the Community Food Bank. One of very own drivers, shown below, worked hard to move donated items for the food drive. Harrington also assisted with picking up boxed from Sotheby's locations in Short Hills and Montclair for the Move For Hunger food drive that took place.

Keller Williams Food Drive – Basking Ridge – Our employees at Harrington Moving & Storage helped to fill trucks and deliver them to the food bank.
Maple Fest – Every year, Harrington Moving & Storage participates in the fest to support our town. We give away balloons to children and the best part is, we line the inside of our truck with bubble wrap and let the children jump and pop the bubbles!
Summit Supports Our Troops – At Harrington, we let the parents of young men and women of Summit, New Providence, and Berkeley Heights, NJ use our warehouse to repackage donations that have been collected while we also assist with transporting these items to Fort Bennings in Georgia.
